What Are You Doing With Your Talents?

All true talent comes from the Lord who is our true strength and provider.
Serving “the Lord and the neighbor” proves to be the best joy in heaven, as well as on earth. And from serving the Lord we can truly love the people around us. Serving the Lord helps walking in the direction of God, one step after the other. It is from divine order that all of us can serve the Lord in many orderly ways, with our energy and special gifts. Doesn’t variety make heaven beautiful?
This Sunday we will be talking about How to serve the Lord with our gifts, our talents.
So what are you doing with your talents?
Come and listen to how the Lord entrusts each and everyone of us with precious talents. And what do we do with our talents? Can you see how talented you are?
Maybe you are wondering what “Talent” means. Maybe you have a pretty clear idea about your own talents. But when you come to church this Sunday, you will discover some of the talents that you have been ignoring for so long. When you come, indeed the Lord will empower you with new insights. He will enlighten you with a new sense of purpose for the best use of your own precious talents.
In the Bible, we are told the importance of multiplying and trading with our talents. And the Parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) is a true source of motivation to go and trade with what we have, for the purpose of gaining more heavenly talents. In fact, the Lord’s Celestial design is that we grow and multiply and fructify what He gives us.
What are you doing with your talents?
True joy is when one serves the Lord and the neighbor, even with the minimum we have. And once we do that, the Lord performs His miracle of spiritual growth in us. He will say to you: “Good and faithful servant …”
I hope to see you in church this Sunday, September 9, 2018.
Love and Peace.
Jean
