Thanksgiving Day Service – Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 10:30 Am

Thanksgiving Day Service at 10:30AM

Dear Members and Friends of New Church of Phoenix,

On Thanksgiving Day, we will have our traditional family worship service for Thanksgiving. We will gather and celebrate Thanksgiving, in gratitude to God for all that He provides for all of us.

The Thanksgiving Day service will be at our usual time: 10:30 Am. We hope to see you among us!

This week is a great time for all of us to have a period of peace and quite in order to take stock of our life. The greatest hope in this Thanksgiving season would be to rediscover the many things in our lives for which we are grateful for.

We gather this Thursday to be thankful for what we have, for the family we love, the friends we cherish, and for the blessings that will come from our God.

If you were asked, “what does Thanksgiving mean to you?” What would be your answer?

To me, being grateful for the good things in one’s life is a good way to appreciate the presence and the providence of God in our heart and mind. Looking back over the years, I am sure you would see the great progress you have all accomplished. It is no news that God has always been there for you all, individually.

Please come to church this Thanksgiving Day with a canned food item for offering. Surely Thanksgiving is a great time to Give Thanks, and to share what we have. It has been our tradition to care for others. And so this Thursday, November 22, we will have our canned food offering once again. Please feel free to come with your gifts to present before the Lord. We will have a special time for this unique act of charity during the service. Bringing an extra thing, like Flowers, is welcome too.

Looking forward to seeing you and your family.

Always show gratitude.

Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy is forever. Ps. 107:1; 136:1

On behalf of our church community, I would like to wish you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving! Wishing you hope, love and happiness this Thanksgiving Day!

See you this Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 22. 10:30 Am at the church.

Love & Peace.

Rev. Jean Atta
